about

Heat the Hoose is a collection of truly great performances recorded live at Scotland's top fiddle festival This CD showcases traditional fiddling at its very best and includes a spine-tingling performance of 'Lochaber no more' from the great Alasdair Fraser in which the entire audience hum a sound of a pipe drone in the background. The tracklist reads like a who’s who of traditional fiddling and includes brilliant performances from the likes of Claire Mann & Aidan O’Rourke, Paul Anderson, Chris Stout, Amy Geddes, Connaillaigh, Clare McLaughlin, Eilidh Shaw.

Anyone interested in the fiddle in its many forms shouldn't miss this....a showcase of the finest talents.
