Jimmy Shand and his Scottish Dance Band - A Jimmy Shand Dance Party: This recording from 1955 was a favourite in the Foot Stompin' household as the one always chosen by the young people when they wanted to dance around the furniture. A new generation still love the swinging lilt of the tunes and the great sound of Scotland's top dance band. We have made this CD from the original recording. There may be a few slight imperfections associated with the age of the original material, but we have tried to make the sound quality of the CD as clear and crisp as possible.
